April 26, 2011- Mahindra Logan has been renamed as 'Mahindra Verito' after the latin term veritas which means truth.

Mahindra Verito Description :

    Mahindra Verito is a compact sedan that sports unique exterior design and unmatched interior appearance. At present Mahindra Verito is believed to be one of the most affordable and reliable car in this car category which is much more durable and would require less maintenance cost. Some of the very appealing features inMahindra Verito will surely attract the customers from all around the world. Some of the features include high sitting car seats, easy entry inside with easy exit, engine is fuel economic. The Verito has a large boot space of nearly 510 liters.

 

   Mahindra Verito is a wide-body car and if you want a spacious car then you can blindly choose Verito as no other car in its class offers as much space as the Verito. The car has 172mm of ground clearance that allows it to run off-road quite comfortably. Mahindra Verito had been launched initially in three engine options – 1.4 L, 1.5 L & 1.6 L. Both 1.4 & 1.6 L engines come as Petrol type whereas the 1.5 L engine is a diesel type. Mahindra Verito 1.6 L petrol variant is not in production at present. Mahindra Verito uses SOHC, MPFI engine that is more fuel efficient.

Mileage, Average and Fuel Economy

    Mahindra Verito is a sedan segment car in an affordable range with excellent technology and advanced features. The all new Mahindra Verito comes in 2 types of engines- 1.4 L and 1.5 L. Mahindra Verito is available in both petrol and diesel engine versions with 5 speed manual transmission. The engines are SOHC configured with MPFI fuel system that gives a tremendous fuel efficient performance while driving the car. The powerful 1.4 L petrol engine of Mahindra Verito delivers a mileage of around 11.3 kmpl in the city and 15.7 kmpl on the highway.Mahindra Verito 1.5 L comes in diesel variant with 5 Speed Manual transmission. The engine is SOHC configured with dCi fuel system to give the stimulating performance of the car. The Mahindra Verito 1.5 litre gives a mileage of 13.8 kmpl in the city and 19.2 kmpl on highways.

Power

     Mahindra Verito is available in two different types of engines- 1.4 L and 1.5 L. The All new Mahindra Verito with 1.4 L engine comes in 3 models with Manual Transmission. The SOHC engine available in 1.4 L is very fuel efficient and delivers hassle-free performance with a Maximum Power of 75 hp at 5500 rpm and a Maximum Torque of 110 Nm at 3000 rpm.

    Mahindra Verito’s diesel variant that is packed with 1.5 L diesel engine comes with 5 speed manual transmission. The DCi engine makes it a better performer in this segment. The car delivers a Maximum Power of 65 hp at 4000 rpm and a Maximum Torque of 160 Nm at 2000 rpm.
